Winner of the “Best Hunter” award of the Knifemakers’ Guild (KMG) at Blade Show Atlanta 2026.
This knife is a northern style utility inspired by Norse mythology. The piece revolves around Damasteel newly released “Jörmungandr” pattern, named after the World Serpent, a symbol of chaos and destruction, infinite life cycles and renewal. Every detail was designed to elevate the performance expected from a working hunting and outdoor knife.
The blade is stainless damascus by Damasteel “Jörmungandr” pattern (61 HRC with cryogenic treatment). The blade is flat ground, mirror polished and deeply etched to have topography and contrast between the two alloys.
The recurve bolster is 416 stainless steel, finished with a very fine satin and mirror polished chamfers. The fit of its “S” shape was hand-sculpted to perfectly match the handle material.
The handle is heirloom fit stabilized maple burl with a TruOil glass finish. This gunstock coating makes the wood waterproof, ensuring a great grip and feel in the hand.
The sheath is made of 3.5 mm (9-10 oz) thick hand-stitched bovine leather with intricate tooling aimed to resemble the Serpent’s skin scales. A goat skin internal liner ensures retention and avoids scratches on the knife.
This piece is one-of-a-kind.
Worldwide shipping included in the price.
The award plaque is not included.
