Return Policy
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (“Consumer Code”), as amended by Legislative Decree No. 21 of February 21, 2014, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of delivery, without the obligation to provide any reason. However, this right cannot be exercised for goods that are custom-made or clearly personalized, in accordance to art. 59, comma 1, lett. c) of the Consumer Code.
How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a written notice to: francesco@piccininknives.com within the 14-day period, by completing the Return Form available in both Italian and English at the end of this communication (PDF format).
The email must include the following details:
· Full name
· Order number
· Date of order and date of delivery
· Description of the product
· Optional reason for return (not required)
The customer must return the product within 14 days from the date of withdrawal notification, following the return instructions below.
Return Instructions
1. Shipping Method: the return must be made via a shipping service of the customer’s choice. However, it is strongly recommended to use the same courier and shipping method used by the seller to avoid complications or delays.
2. Packaging and Labeling
· ensure all barcodes or tracking labels from the original shipment are obliterated or removed before handing over the return package to the courier;
· use the original packaging (including outer corrugated box) provided by Francesco Piccinin to protect the item during return shipping;
· if multiple products are returned, they must be returned in a single shipment.
3. Condition of Returned Goods:
Returned items must be:
· Unused
· Undamaged
· In perfect, original condition
· With all labels, logos, and seals from Francesco Piccinin intact
· Complete with original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation

Refund
A refund will be issued within 14 days from the date the returned product is received and inspected, using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If the returned product is used, damaged, or not in its original condition due to customer handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, or functioning, the refund may be reduced proportionally or denied altogether.
Return Shipping Costs
In accordance with Article 57 of the Consumer Code, if the product was delivered damaged and the damage was reported and documented at the time of delivery, the return shipping costs will be covered by the seller. On the contrary, if the product is damaged due to improper packaging during return shipment, the customer is liable for the damage. In such cases, return costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
